About West Indian Pantry: Our Story
West Indian Pantry was built from a simple idea born during COVID-19: bringing Authentic Trinidad & Tobago flavor to people worldwide while directly supporting micro businesses and local vendors in Trinidad & Tobago.
What started as homemade dehydrated seasonings made for personal use quickly grew into something much bigger. As the owner of a local souvenir business serving customers across the diaspora, I started including free samples of my extra seasonings with orders. Soon, customers from all corners of the globe began reaching back out, asking how they could buy those exact seasonings directly.
That incredible demand led to our first labeled products, and eventually, the launch of West Indian Pantry LLC a global Caribbean marketplace built to scale our culture and help local Authentic Trinidad & Tobago businesses reach the world.
